E Learning Design

CSX Transportation

October 2011 - Present

Database design, optimization, reporting services and data manipulation for a corporate on-line education, training, and certification system. This system is designed with a SQL Server data repository and front end delivery systems including: Authorware, Captivate, Adobe's Flash and some third party SCORM and AICC products. My direct responsibilities include extensive "hands on" coding within the E Learning products, data migration utilities, reporting and data design, manipulation/optimization and the design and creation of an exam engine and numerous web based dashboards and utilities.

Point of Sale / Inventory Control

Scholastic Books

January 2008 - March 2011

Designed and coded an inventory control system that included on-line reporting services and real time inventory levels related to books and educational products. Additionally, I re-engineered the corporate point of sale software system that included product bar code scanners, inventory forecasting, and sales statistics. This corporate point of sale / inventory system was a combination of real time and batch sales and inventory control.

Mortgage Origination

Fidelity National Information Systems

November 2000 - January 2011

My missions deeply involved me with reacting to emergency situations at various client sites related to banking and mortgage origination products that Fidelity supports. Some of my notable clients have been Toyota, Harris Bank, Sun Trust, Washington Mutual and TD Bank North. Major projects have included database migrations resulting from bank mergers and acquisitions, resolving system slowdowns related to database deadlocks, obsolete indexes, rewrites of stored procedures, restructuring of tables and views, in depth analysis to match extreme volumes to response times and data platform migration from non-similar data structures to support corporate changes in systems and products in production and slated for use in production.
